Headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, GAIN has offices in countries with high levels of malnutrition: Bangladesh, Benin, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, Pakistan, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda. To support work in those countries, we have representative offices in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Mr. Walter Vílchez Dávila is currently the Director General of the National Food and Nutrition Center of the National Institute of Health and Representative of the Global Iodine Network in Peru. He is a nutrition and public health specialist who also has experience in project management and human resources. He holds a postgraduate degree in Nutrition and Public Health. Mr. Dávila has held several leadership positions in public and private sector programmes. He is also a professor at three Peruvian Universities.
