GAIN is delighted to welcome Ms. Wubet Girma as the new Country Director, Ethiopia. Ms. Girma is an international development and cultural relations professional with over 15 years' experience, a track record of leadership in Non-Governmental Organisations - vested in the acceleration of human, social, and economic capital.
She joins GAIN from the British Council as Ethiopia’s Deputy Director and has demonstrated success in roles developing and managing programs or initiatives requiring a combination of strong team leadership, communications, analytical, and multi sector project management skills. She is further skilled in cultivating partnerships and strategic alliances, fostering social innovation, and proficient in planning and execution of robust systems to achieve organisational objectives in a wide array of multinational organizations.
