Forum for the Future of Agriculture (FFA)

The Forum for the Future of Agriculture (FFA2018) will take place on Tuesday, 27th March 2018 in Brussels.

Since its launch in 2008, the FFA has become the key Brussels event on agriculture and the environment. It provides a unique platform for ideas and discussion on a range of issues from policy reform to innovative practices in the field.

The 11th edition of the FFA will continue this tradition by focusing on ways to deliver sustainable farming and healthy food, meeting the many challenges that face us all.

Increases in global population coupled with shifting dietary choices due to economic growth, 815 million people affected by hunger, climate change, increasing environmental awareness and concern, and the imperative to deliver collectively on the sustainable development goals are all challenges for the future of agriculture and the creation of sustainable, healthy food systems.

Lawrence Haddad, GAIN’s Executive Director, will be among the panelists of the ‘Global Session: Transitioning towards sustainable food systems for a healthy future’.
