Global Youth Campaigns Coordinator, Act4Food & GAIN


Stephanie Sargeant is a development professional working at the intersection of youth engagement, food systems, and climate and ecosystems. She currently serves as the Global Youth Campaigns Coordinator at Act4Food and the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), where she is responsible for overseeing the various activities Act4Food carries out, including training youth leaders and supporting their collective action campaigns. Prior to this, she has worked at the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), Wetlands International, the CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS), and spoken at various key forums. Stephanie holds a bachelor's degree in Geography and a master's degree in International Development Studies, with a specialization in Politics and Governance and the selective side-track Sustainable Development Diplomacy. Her passion for sustainable development and addressing global challenges stems from her childhood in Kenya, where she developed a deep appreciation for the interplay between human activities and the natural world.
