Roberta Bove joined GAIN as Nutritious Food Financing Programme Lead in September 2021. With over 13 years of work experience in supporting SMEs in Sub-Saharan Africa with technical assistance, impact investing, international development and corporate finance, Roberta brings a unique perspective to lead our N3F work in catalysing private sector financing to help scale up the production and sale of locally produced nutritious foods in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Prior to GAIN, Roberta worked on the Venture Catalyst program of the Clean Cooking Alliance, working directly with SMEs in Sub-Saharan Africa, providing them with grants and technical assistance. Prior to that, Roberta was a Senior Investment Manager at Palladium, providing direct debt financing to agriculture and off-grid solar SMEs in West Africa.
