Madeleine Kaufmann has been the coordinator of the Federal Office for Agriculture (FOAG) since 2018. She prepares and represents the Swiss position in FAO's governance bodies. Madeleine also works on technical portfolios in the field of "youth in agriculture", responsible agricultural investments and agroecology.
Before joining the FOAG, Madeleine worked for several international cooperation and development organizations, including the German Development Cooperation (GIZ), the Centre for International Agriculture and Biosciences (CABI), Bioversity International and Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation.
