Headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, GAIN has offices in countries with high levels of malnutrition: Bangladesh, Benin, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, Pakistan, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda. To support work in those countries, we have representative offices in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Javits Jeyaraj Rajendran is the Asia Project Coordinator for Social Protection at the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN). Based in India, he coordinates multi-country social protection programming across Asia, supporting government partnerships and nutrition-sensitive policy advocacy. Javits brings over a decade of experience in social development, mental health, gender-responsive governance, and food systems across South Asia, having worked with UN Women, the Government of Tamil Nadu, and leading Indian research and practice institutions. His work spans program design and evaluation, stakeholder engagement, strategic communications, and translating complex systems challenges into actionable policy and practice.
