Process evaluation of BRAC’s Pushtonika programme in Bangladesh

A mixed-methods process evaluation was carried out from June-July 2012 to identify strengths and weaknesses in implementation, processes, and uptake of a programme that distributed micronutrient powders (MNPs), called Pushtonika, targeted at infants aged 6 to 24 months in Bangladesh.

The overall objective of the study was to carefully examine steps and links in the impact pathway, in order to identify strengths and weaknesses in programme implementation, processes and uptake which could ultimately affect programme outcomes. The findings offer key insights about the effectiveness of the Pushtikona programme.
