Giving Women Annual Conference

Giving Women Annual Conference

Over the last 10 years, Giving Women has organised a yearly conference, which examines a theme that affects vulnerable girls and women globally.

The Giving Women Annual Conference has become an important platform for convening UN organisations, Civil Society, NGOs, business, academia, and private individuals to inform, reflect and act on what we need to do together to bring dignity and agency to the lives of girls and women globally.

The 9th Annual Conference will look at the issue of food security and the key role women play in providing food for their families, their communities and the world.

All people should be free from hunger and malnutrition, yet there are millions of women throughout the world who struggle to provide basic nutrition for the healthy development of themselves and their families.

Giving Women has invited a group of experts who will explain what malnutrition looks like on a global scale, what are the big organisations doing to address this and how can a reworked supply chain provide nourishing food for all.

On 19 March 2020 learn the truth about food, malnutrition globally and how together we can ensure that everyone’s right to nutrition is met.
