Combining the power of science and markets for a nutritious food system


On Wednesday, 17th October 2018, the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) will host an evening discussion on “Combining the power of science and markets for a more nutritious food system”, as side event for the World Food Prize.

The discussion will involve previous World Food Prize Laureates, Dr. Howarth Bouis, Dr Maria Andrade and Dr. Per Pinstrup-Andersen, along with Dr. Robert Bertram (USAID), Stephanie Slingerland (Kellogg) and Heather Danton (SPRING).

In the action-oriented spirit of the World Food Prize, GAIN will use this event to announce a new global partnership which truly links science and markets.
