Dr. Garima Singh joined the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) in September 2023 as a Project Coordinator, working on the Food Systems Dashboard and Food Fortification portfolios. In this role, she leads market-level assessments and development of subnational food systems dashboards for India, contributing to evidence-based decision-making in nutrition and food systems.
A trained social scientist, Dr. Singh holds an M. Phil and PhD from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, India. Prior to joining GAIN, she gained extensive experience in field-based research across diverse social development projects and has worked significantly with big data, combining qualitative insights with data-driven approaches to inform policy and programmatic
interventions.
