Catherine Gee is the Head of the Development Office in London. She leads the team which supports and maintains GAIN’s relationships with donors and partners. This includes shepherding the processes of resource mobilisation, monitoring funding opportunities, coordinating major donor reporting and ensuring that proposals and donor reports meet high-quality standards.
Previously, Catherine worked as Senior Operations Coordinator in the Poverty, Health and Nutrition Division at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) in Washington DC.
In that role, she provided project management support to a number of large scale nutrition research projects, including Transform Nutrition, working with partners in India, Bangladesh, Ethiopia and Kenya, and the Global Nutrition Report. Prior to that, she was Development Office Manager for the Institute of Development Studies in Brighton, UK, coordinating the grants development and review processes across their whole research portfolio.
Her educational background is in politics and governance, and she has overseas working experience in Ghana.
