Call For Consultant Services: Research And Development Of Content As part of GAIN’s Food Systems Governance Learning Agenda

GAIN, as the administrative lead, is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to engage the services of a provider to assist us in coherently building on our use of the food systems governance model with local and city governments and traditional food markets, and leveraging current momentum and Nourishing Food Pathways Workstream 2.2 endeavours to develop a communication strategy with a selection of supporting tools, to raise awareness, concretise efforts, support investment, advocate and influence, between April 2025 and May 2026. The communication language is UK English which can be supported as relevant by sub-titles in Portuguese (Mozambique), Kiswahili (Kenya and Tanzania), and Bahasa (Indonesia). The main target audience is broad, and encompasses local and global policy makers and government delivery officials, sustainable development practitioners, academia/researchers, donors/investors and wider civil society. An overarching communications strategy and tools with disaggregated messaging potentially for specific audiences and per key identified ‘’events’’ – across multiple channels - is envisioned. While focused on the framing and 2025/2026 year the strategy and tools should support the 2030 horizon – in-line with delivery of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. Innovation and creativity which is context and culturally sensitive is encouraged; noting that while there is space for uniqueness, attention to GAIN communications – branding guidelines is also required.
