With over 25 years of experience in corporate management, strategic leadership, and program development, Abel Dabula leads GAIN Mozambique with a focus on innovation, building partnerships, and the sustainable transformation of food systems. Throughout his career, he has gained solid experience in senior management of both international and national organisations in Mozambique, human capital development, strategic planning, business development, and leading multidisciplinary teams. His journey is marked by collaboration with the private sector, public institutions, civil society organisations, and development partners, promoting integrated and high-impact solutions.
Before taking on the role of Director of GAIN Mozambique, he served as the organisation's Program Director, leading the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to strengthen food systems and expand access to safe, nutritious, and affordable foods. In his current role, Abel guides the implementation of GAIN's strategy in Mozambique, driving strategic partnerships, strengthening institutional capacities, and promoting innovative, inclusive, and sustainable solutions that help improve nutrition and ensure healthier diets for all Mozambicans.
