Sharon Bligh is the Director of Health and Sustainability at The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF), leading global business collaboration to help build healthier lives, reduce food waste and drive faster decarbonisation.

Sharon works with CEOs of the largest consumer goods retailers and manufacturers globally, accelerating actions that ensure better lives through better business.

She leads CGF’s Healthier Lives, Food Waste Coalition and Climate Transition Coalition of Action, working closely with global CEOs who form the CGF’s Board of Directors to collectively advance progress towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

In particular, for healthier lives, she is:

  • Inspiring and driving healthier consumer behaviours by launching multi-stakeholder interventions.
  • Helping make the healthier and more sustainable choice the easy and preferred consumer choice by championing taste, accessibility and affordability.
  • Enabling healthier workforces and drive progress in our employee framework covering workforce nutrition and wellbeing.
     

Sharon is passionate about the power of collaboration as a catalyst for change. She actively engages with experts from the retail and manufacturing sectors, as well as multi-stakeholder groups, to craft solutions that benefit people and planet.  She is Irish and is based in Paris with her family
