The French Society of Nutrition (SFN), the French Federation of Nutrition (FFN), the Federation of European Nutrition Societies (FENS), and the International Union of Nutritional Sciences (IUNS)—and under the high patronage of Mr. Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic—is holding the 23rd International Congress of Nutrition, between 24 and 29 August 2025 at the Palais des Congrès, Pris, France.
The central theme of the Congress is “Sustainable Food for Global Health.” In addition to this core focus, the Congress will cover a wide spectrum of topics, including fundamental, clinical, epidemiological, and social aspects of nutrition through lectures, symposia, oral presentations, and poster sessions. GAIN’s participation at IUN 2025 showcases our global expertise and commitment to improving nutrition and food systems. The team will share insights through oral presentations and discussions, covering topics from sustainability and affordability to policy innovation and community engagement, contributing to collaborative solutions for healthier diets worldwide.

Mduduzi Mbuya is Director, Knowledge Leadership, where he is responsible for research and evaluation at GAIN.
He works with colleagues to generate and use evidence to guide improved program design and implementation and to fill critical gaps in the global evidence.
Dr Mbuya has worked for over two decades on nutrition sensitive programs and policy in LMIC.
