4th African SANKALP meeting


The 4th edition of Sankalp Africa Summit 2017 aims at connecting entrepreneurs with investors, corporates and policy makers to facilitate their growth strategies for the region. The summit will bring together diverse stakeholders to deliberate on the building blocks of an integrated and innovation led economy. The three pillars driving these conversations will be Knowledge, Capital and Networks. The fourth summit will see a cumulative traffic of over 1000+ delegates from over 40+ countries from the region. Across the two days there will be over 50+ sessions, 125 + speakers representing business leaders, industry stalwarts and renowned entrepreneurs, 60+ Partners and pertinent conversations on impact investing, innovation and more. With booths showcasing the latest in impact business, enterprise showcase during the Sankalp awards where the best come together, engaging leadership presence and compelling conversations, it will see a significant number of reputed players, corporates, investors and institutions gather to derive the best for the next three billion.

Industry leaders from the investment community, government, and business leaders such as Dr. Ekwow Spio-Garbrah, Minister of Trade and Industry from Ghana, Mr. Johnson Sakaja of TNA, Suleiman Kiggundu of CDC, and Bob Collymore, CEO of Safaricom have all come to the Sankalp Africa Summit to build a community for entrepreneurs.

A GAIN-led multi sectoral delegation will take part in the 4th SANKALP African Summit in Nairobi, Kenya, in February. SANKALP is a platform that seeks to create a successful ecosystem for inclusive and business-led development, influencing investment and stimulating entrepreneurship through collaborative and partnership initiatives.
