Business Alliance Forum Report: Nutrition Security for Children in Bangladesh

On 24 November 2009, the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) hosted its Second Business Alliance Forum in Dhaka, which focused on the theme of Nutrition Security for Children in Bangladesh. More than 100 participants from government, international organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), academia and business attended.

Through lively panel discussions and presentations, participants had an opportunity to learn about trends in child and maternal nutrition in Bangladesh, programmatic constraints and solutions to improve the health and nutrition of millions of children. They also learned about how business and school feeding programs can contribute to nutrition security for children in Bangladesh.
