Submission is now closed for the GAIN Business Award 2008.

 

 

Eligibility

 

The GAIN Business Award is open to companies of all types and sizes that show a commitment to the highest standards of corporate governance, responsible business practices and sustainable development. Applications are sought from companies that are engaged in promoting solutions to malnutrition across a wide range of activities in the marketplace, workplace, community and wider environment.

 

Process

  • After the submission of an application, entrants will receive a formal notification to confirm the receipt of their entry.
  • Preliminary checks will occur as entries are received – any incomplete entries received in advance of the closing date will be contacted by IBLF and given the opportunity to fulfil requirements prior to the closing date.
  • Entries fulfilling eligibility criteria, entry requirements and Award objectives will be submitted for short listing.
  • Applicants may be asked for additional information or materials.
  • A panel of international distinguished judges will decide on the winner of the GAIN Business Award.

Timeline

  • Applicants will be notified whether they have been short listed by 21 November 2008.
  • Adjudication Process will take place: 24 November – 31 December 2008.
  • The Winner of the GAIN Business Award will be notified in January 2009.
  • The Winner will be announced publicly at a special Award Ceremony in May 2009 (date and location to be defined).

Feedback

  • Given the volume of entries, no feedback will be given to entrants.
