Know-how

GAIN provides know-how to its partners, to the members of the Business Alliance, and to professionals in the nutrition and other sectors.

We advise on:

Nutrition programs

We excel in the design and implementation of large-scale nutrition programs. We share that know-how with governments, development organizations and the private sector.

Performance management

GAIN's own program has clear performance targets and systems for monitoring and evaluation. Our partnerships always include measurable objectives. We assist many organizations through advice on the best ways to set, measure and achieve specific objectives.

Partnership management

We build and manage complex partnerships daily, and we share that know-how through publications and in person.

Business models

Increasingly, we are learning how to develop and implement innovative business models that contribute to the bottom line as well as to public health. We are working with companies in particular on new partnerships and approaches to work with and for the "bottom of the pyramid" - the billions of people who earn less that US$ 3,000 per year, but whose combined purchasing power amounts to US$ 5 trillion.

Product development

We work with public and private partners to define product specifications with regard to nutrition, set up local partnerships, find new distribution mechanisms, and identify new markets.
