Franck Riboud

Franck Riboud was educated at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale in Lausanne, Switzerland. He entered Groupe DANONE in 1980, and worked in Management control, Marketing and then Sales. Having been the Director of Sales of Heudebert, he was nominated Director of Integration and Development of New Societies in the Biscuits business line in September 1989, and participated in the greatest acquisition ever carried out by a French company in the United States: the acquisition of Nabisco European activities by BSN. In 1990 he was nominated Managing Director of Evian Mineral Waters and in 1992 took on the role of VP Corporate Development. Following his appointment as Vice-Chairman in 1994, Franck Riboud was nominated Chairman and CEO of Groupe DANONE in May 1996, a position that he still holds today.
