I have been university educated in Finance and Business Administration in Southern California many moons ago now. I have worked in numerous companies and organizations from small privately owned mortgage companies to large multi-nationals both in North America and in Europe. I have particular expertise in consolidation, reporting, systems, re-organizations, and management. I have had the opportunity to experience working with people in all levels of these organizations as varied as providing systems training in Eastern Central Europe to working with Presidents and VP’s in worldwide and regional HQ environments. My experience in these financial and operational environments spans 15 years.
At GAIN I am responsible for management of the CAS (Corporate Administrative Services) group. The CAS group consists of Finance and accounting, Contracting and Administration, Facilities and Services, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Legal. It is precisely this wearing of multiple hat roles that interested me in joining GAIN. Working with talented individuals across multiple disciplines has been challenging and extremely rewarding. I have the opportunity to learn something new every day and really believe that we in CAS if we grasp the challenge can remake GAIN into one of the most efficient and respected NGO’s in the world. Positive thinking, a can do attitude, innovative solutions, communication, and respect are keys to success.
