Prior to joining GAIN, he acquired extensive experience raising capital and providing strategic advisory services to governments, corporations and foundations while working in the investment banking industry for 20 years in both Asia and Europe. During his investment banking career he worked for both the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation and ABN AMRO Bank N.V. where he was a Managing Director and his responsibilities included advising clients operating across a broad spectrum of industries including the consumer products (including food and beverages) and healthcare sectors.
He has a Masters in Business Administration from Cornell University and a Bachelor’s in Economics and Development Studies from the University of California, Davis.
