GAIN's Representative in China - Shanghai, China

Mr Zhen Xin Lu, based in Shanghai, is GAIN’s representative in China.

Project Highlights
GAIN’s representative in China supports the implementation and monitoring of GAIN-funded soy sauce fortification with iron in China. In the area of advocacy, the representative recently supported an online survey to both assess and build public awareness of breastfeeding and the Code of Marketing of Breast Milk Substitutes.

Event Highlights
The representative also assists the GAIN Secretariat with convening events that bring together a wide range of stakeholders in the fight against malnutrition. In May 2009 GAIN's representative in China helped organize the ceremony marking the GAIN Business Award for Innovation in Nutrition that took place at the Micronutrient Forum in Beijing.
