Anne Scott
Executive Director of Programs, CIFF
Anne Scott is Executive Director for Programmes at CIFF. In this role she has responsibility for managing to results and maximizing return on CIFF's investments. Prior to joining CIFF, Anne served as Vice President of Global Programs for ChildFund International, where she set a framework for improving the quality and measuring the impact of ChildFund's programmes worldwide. Prior to ChildFund and for John Snow International, Anne led the implementation of a large USAID-funded project that improved the health and health-seeking behaviour of Palestinian mothers and children under 5 years of age. Previously, Anne has managed the International HIV/AIDS Alliance's South Asia programme portfolio, and served as HIV Technical Advisor for USAID in Asia and the Near East. Anne received a PhD in Medical Anthropology and Folklore from the University of Pennsylvania in the US, and an MBA in Finance, Accounting and Audit from the University of Kent in the UK. She completed post-doctoral fellowships in science and diplomacy, and health and child survival, with the American Association for the Advancement of Science and Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health, respectively.
